Meet Lorene from Oregon. She is on Oregon State's cross country team and when she isn't studying or hanging at the flat, she's on her way to Unipol (the Uni's gym). Lorene will be traveling with Kyle, my brother Patrick and myself to the North Island after exams.
Avy is a geology major with a geology-field trip story for almost every occasion. She is never bored of New Zealand's rocks and volcanoes. More importantly, she is the only other member of the flat that enjoys coffee like I do.
Katrin is from Germany but she studies Marketing in Copenhagen, Denmark. She likes practicing her English, Danish, Italian, and French. She also enjoys cooking a hot lunch, and dancing to techno.
Brooke, is from New York but goes to school in Boston. She is taking a break from her normal course load of psychology to study the Maori (pronounced 'moldy') - New Zealand's native people. Below Brooke dances during a Sunday afternoon get-together.
Finally, the only other male in the flat: Meet Adam, an Australian at heart but has lived in New Zealand the past few years. He is the subject of much attention in the bar when the All Blacks play the Wallabies in Rugby. He is studying Business and economics with big plans to travel the world in pursuit of entrepreneurship.
